Dear HFHC supporters,
I would ask everyone to join with us in prayer after the shocking assassination of Haiti’s President Jovenel Moïse on July 7. No branch of government in Haiti is functioning well and many armed gangs are attempting to take control throughout the country. It is unclear what the future holds, but we know God hears the cries of His people. I would ask you specifically to pray that the leaders who emerge from this crisis will care about the needs of the population – including our sponsored children, our staff, and their families – who are living with constant stress and fear from the ongoing violence throughout the country.
