What is a Hope Gathering?
A small group of friends getting together to fellowship and learn more about bringing hope to the children in Haiti.
Where do we get together?
You can meet in a home, a restaurant, or online via Zoom!
Who do we invite?
Anyone that either is already involved with the work of Hope for Haiti’s Children or friends/family/colleagues who might be interested.
How long will it last?
Usually, Hope Gatherings last around 1 hour. If you decide to provide appetizers, a meal, or desert or if you want to allow more time for fellowship, it will last longer.

Will there be someone from HFHC there?
Yes! We would love to come! We can either plan to be there in person or can join you by Zoom, whatever you prefer.
What will the Hope for Haiti’s Children presentation be like?
The Hope for Haiti’s Children representative will:
- Introductions of all attendees. Everyone at the event will share their name and perhaps one small fact (i.e. how they know the host, how they are associated with HFHC). This is optional
- A short video will be shown (~3.5 minutes). This can be viewed on your TV or we will bring the technology needed.
- The host will share how they became involved with Hope for Haiti’s Children. You might share the story of sponsoring a child, a mission trip, a letter you received, etc.
- The HFHC representative will share more about Child Sponsorship and Project Hope 2030 (10 minutes) and then leave time for Q& A.
- Attendees fill out response form. They will have the opportunity to just fill it out (no pressure to donate), sponsor a child, or invest in Project Hope 2030.
What do I need to do?
Once you confirm that you’d like to be a host, you will just need to set the date and time, decide on the venue, and invite your friends! The Hope for Haiti’s Children representative will be with you every step of the way as you plan and execute!
