Growing Minds & Meals

Jul 15, 2025

Every Friday, students at Thomazeau School roll up their sleeves and head to the garden! Led by our dedicated agronomist, one class is invited each week to help plant, water, and harvest vegetables.

In the photos, you’ll see students proudly watering and picking fresh spinach—just one of the crops they’ve been growing, along with beans and eggplant. Best of all? The vegetables they harvest go straight to the kitchen and are served as part of their school lunch.

It’s hands-on learning with a purpose—teaching agriculture, responsibility, and nutrition all in one!
