It’s that time of year… Hope for Haiti’s Children is wrapping up a busy season of well-child checkups! In our annual Child Care Clinic, each sponsored student receives a thorough medical evaluation conducted by a Haitian nurse and doctor, along with prescription medications (as needed) and a hot lunch. Children’s medical records are then analyzed and tracked in order to confirm proper growth and development and to raise awareness of possible complications.
Thankfully, accessibility to medical care doesn’t end when students leave the clinic! All HFHC supported schools employ school nurses who monitor students’ medical needs and offer instruction in health and hygiene. These support systems are huge blessings for Haitian families, as sponsored children receive physical, emotional, and spiritual care in the name of Christ. As part of our Project Hope Million Dollar Impact gift match campaign, we invite you to make a tax-free donation that will… help provide nurses and medical supplies for every school fund the operation of our new Hope Medical Clinic, which will be open to see patients two days per week.
We are grateful for your commitment that has made these quality healthcare efforts possible, and we ask for your continued partnership as we seek to make a difference… one child at a time.
