Christian Leadership Youth Camp Team

The Christian Leadership Youth Camps are held yearly in July/August. These trips requires about 24 volunteers each, who will conduct a three or four-day conference for our sponsored students ages 13-17, a group of totalling roughly 220 young people.

What to Expect

The camps are primarily a spiritual event focusing on Bible classes and devotionals. Campers will also have time for fun activities, especially soccer. There is a movie night and a talent show, a highlight every year. Mission Team members will arrive 3 days before the camp begins to prepare materials, attend a Sunday worship service with local Christians, and visit the Cazeau and Thomazeau Christian Orphanages. For the first two nights, the team will stay at a hotel in Port-au-Prince. For the remainder of the mission trip, members will reside at the camp venue, the Global Outreach Center in Titanyen, Haiti or our Thomazeau Hope Center. On Tuesday, team members will open the camp and welcome the teenagers! Camp scheduled time slots will rotate between spiritual lectures, discussions, nutrition classes, organized games, free-time, quiet times, and videos.
