Why Your Giving Matters

Jan 23, 2024

Although we are still rejoicing over God’s faithfulness and your continued support in 2023 (see completed projects below), we are eager to tackle what’s ahead in 2024! There are some big projects on the horizon: upgrading a number of classrooms in HFHC schools, hosting the annual teacher training and summer lunch program, and investing in a water filtration system for the Cazeau school. We covet your prayers as we move forward, and we ask you to consider making a donation that will help serve children and families throughout Haiti. As always, your generosity makes a difference… one child at a time.

PROJECTS COMPLETED IN 2023… WHY YOUR GIVING MATTERS!

New preschool and kindergarten classrooms at Delmas ($150k) and Mirebalais ($120k) ensure that children have a safe place to learn and play.
Upgraded computer labs in four schools ($16k) allow students to access educational resources and learn new technology skills.
Funding for the HFHC medical clinic staff ($20k) as well as the purchase of medication and supplies ($10k) provides sponsored students with free local medical care.
Construction of a retaining wall at Cazeau Christian School ($40k) creates a new driveway for HFHC vehicles and a level play area for children, resolving an ongoing erosion issue.
New stoves at five schools ($10k) guarantee that HFHC cooks can continue to prepare hot, nutritious lunches for students.
