Robert Christian Elementary School
Robert (pronounced Rō-bear) is a remote village where the only way up is by 4-wheel drive, motorcycle, or even on a donkey. While the homes in this community have no electricity, the local school stands as a beacon of hope, powered by solar energy and collecting rainwater in a cistern. For families in this village, the school is a lifeline providing not just education but also daily meals for their children. After completing the 9th grade in the village, students continue their education at a secondary school at the foot of the mountain.
