Cazeau Christian Elementary School

Cazeau (pronounced Cä-zō) is a neighborhood in Port-au-Prince, just a mile from the international airport. The Cazeau Christian School sits on a hill next to the Cazeau Christian Orphanage and is highly regarded for its academic excellence. Students consistently achieve test scores that surpass the national average, driven by their determination and the support of their dedicated teachers and staff. More than just an educational institution, the school is a source of nourishment and hope. Each day, students enjoy a hot, nutritious meal, giving them the strength to learn, grow, and overcome any challenges they face.

The school’s auditorium serves a dual purpose, not only as a gathering space for students but also as the meeting place for the Cazeau Church of Christ, uniting the community through both education and worship.

Feed a Child – During the summer, when school is out and children no longer have access to daily school meals, we step in to help. Every Friday, children gather at school for a hot, nourishing meal and a fun-filled Vacation Bible School (VBS) program. Before they head home, each child receives a bag of rice and beans to share with their family, ensuring they have food for the days ahead. This program not only feeds their bodies but also uplifts their spirit. $50 per child for the entire summer.
