Celebrating Haiti Heritage Month

May 21, 2026

May is a special month in Haiti as communities across the country celebrate Haiti Heritage Month. The children participated in celebrating Labor and Agriculture Day on May 1st and honored the Haitian Flag Day on May 18th. Throughout our schools, students joined together for meaningful celebrations filled with music, patriotic songs, classroom activities, cultural presentations, and moments of gratitude for Haiti’s rich history and resilient spirit.

From handmade flags and student performances to joyful gatherings with classmates and teachers, these celebrations were a reminder that even in difficult circumstances, hope and pride remain strong. We are thankful our children can experience these important traditions while growing in faith, education, and community.

The smiles, excitement, and energy seen throughout our schools reflect the beauty and strength of the Haitian people. Thank you for helping provide safe places where children can learn, grow, and celebrate their heritage with joy.
